Here is a little bit about Big Woof Biscuits from Tamara:
We love our pets, and we want to give them the very best things we can. Unfortunately not all food manufacturers have the same goals. That is why I started making my own treats for dogs. I use only ingredients I would eat and feed to my family... Because my dogs ARE my FAMILY.
I can tell you that these are always a big hit at Craftacular. Come pick up some goodies for your pooch on Saturday, November 5 between 9 and 2.

Meet the Vendor: Marcella Stewart ~ Mary Kay
Those of you who have been with us a while know that one of my favorite things is to introduce everyone to the vendors that will be sharing their wares with us at Craftacular on Saturday, November 5. Ladies and Gentleman I introduce you to Marcella Stewart!!!
I
chose to honor teachers with my Mary Kay business this year back in May
and actually conducted satin hands pampering sessions at several
schools, including SWE.
My
offering for the craft fare is already packed gift ideas for parents
and teachers. I will be featuring our satin hands pampering sets and
opportunity for parents and teachers to schedule pampering appointments
with me. I will also offer a drawing for a basket. I will be donating
a percentage of my sales from this craft fare to the school via PTA in
support of our teachers and educating our children, the future leaders.
My website is: www.marykay.com/marcellastewart
Best contact is 336-681-2692 (mobile) Landline is 919-563-9101
I
have been building my Mary Kay business for over 12 years. My life has
been positively impacted by great teachers over the years, especially
my earlier years. That is why I enjoy reaching out to schools in the
community.
I
do have a Masters of Business Administration from Wake Forest
University. I value education and want to do what I can to help support
our educators.

Meet the Vendor: Francesca - Keep-collective
I'd like to introduce you to another one of our vendors.
I'm
Francesca, I'm 33, I'm originally from Italy and I moved to the States
about 10 years ago. I have been working full time for my family business
for my whole life, but recently I decided to venture into this new
world of Keep-collective. A friend of mine was selling it and I fell in
love with the product. I have never been interested in direct sales
before, but between the fact that I love easy, fun jewelry and the fact
that the market is not oversaturated with Keep-collective, I decided to
try it out and so far I'm having a lot of fun with it! I'm looking
forward to having fun at the craft fair and to share the love!
My website is www.keep-collective.com/with/francesca
Come out and meet Francesca in person at SWE's 3rd Craftacular on Saturday, November 21 from 9-2. 2320 Cook Rd., Durham, NC 27713

I Was Asked a Question Today
I know you are on the edge of your seats wondering what the question might be. Well, a friend asked me if the craft fair is only for professional crafters. In fact the Southwest Elementary School PTA's 3rd Craftacular Craft & Vendor Fair is open to ANYONE who wants to try to sell their art. Tables start at only $35 so this is a great way to get your feet wet and see what it's like. It's also a great chance to talk with those who have done other shows and make money off their art work. You might pick up some great tips from these seasoned veterans.
I have made some wonderful friends at past fairs across the country. Is it for everyone? Nope. I would say that if you are relatively shy and the thought of talking to strangers puts your stomach in a knot you may want to stick with on-line shops. But if you are reasonably comfortable talking to people and won't break down in tears when Grumpy Gert starts asking about your prices and then walks away telling her friend that SHE could make that (She probably can't and never will) then I say give it a go!
If you want to find our forms and a list of FAQs just click here---> http://www.swepta.com/craft-fair.html

It's The Final Count Down...
I can't believe that in just a few short days we will finally get to enjoy the SWE PTA's Craftacular Craft & Vendor Fair. THIS Saturday, November 23 we will get to see the labors of all our hard work. Don't get me wrong, there's still A LOT to get done but we will get there and it will be awesome!
The one thing we still need is YOU. We need people to come out and support the wonderful vendors and artists that we are STILL adding to the list. We need you to come and show some love to the food trucks who are graciously coming to spend the day with us. We need people to come and purchase raffle tickets and try to in some fantabulous prizes. We need you to come out and applaud for the entertainers... ESPECIALLY for me when I put on a Thanksgiving/Hanukkah story time. We need you to come out for the camaraderie.

Soooooo.... Close
I can hardly believe that it is less than a week to our PTA's First Ever Craftacular Craft & Vendor Fair. Signs are going up. Flyers are being passed around. I'm hoping that word of mouth is spreading. This has the potential to be an AMAZING fund raiser for Southwest Elementary School. The money that we earn from the rental of tables, donations from the food trucks, raffle ticket sales and SWE merchandise will all be helpful to us in upgrading our school's technological services. When all is said and done we will let you know what EXACTLY we are doing with the proceeds.
I hope you will consider coming out for the day. We have 40+ vendors selling a little bit of everything from makeup to art items to chocolate! There is bound to be something for a number of folks on your gift lists.
There will also be FIVE food trucks. Yep, I said FIVE food trucks. The good people of Will & Pop's, Chirba Chirba, CJ's Street Food, Mac-Ur-Roni and Little Dipper's Italian Ice are coming out to help support our school. Come and feed your family for a good cause. It's easier than cooking.
Even the Southwest Branch of the Durham Public Library will be coming out to join us. Make sure that you stop by their table to say hi! We will also be graced with some wonderful entertainment options. A list of performances will be posted tomorrow.
A complete list of vendors will be available on here later in the week as will a list of businesses that don't have tables but have graciously donated items for our bucket raffle. You could win big! Tickets are $1/each OR $20 for your age in tickets. We will start pulling names at 1:30.
Hope to see you there. If you come out, make sure you find me and say hi!
